History of Our Group

The Buddy Walk was started five years ago by Michele Both, when her son Kyle was born. She wanted to bring awareness to the community that children and adults with Down syndrome are people too.
The group is supported by Central NJ DS PAG.

Our Group

Proceeds from the walk will be donated to the National Down Syndrome Society, Network 21, Central NJ DS PAG, DSRTF, creating  packets / gift baskets for new parents of children with Down syndrome and implementing a program on educating healthcare professionals.  These two programs are taken on by the Central NJ Down syndrome Parent Advocacy Group.

This year the walk will once again be working with the Central NJ DS PAG and Network 21. Your support will help all people with Down syndrome take steps for a brighter tomorrow
